Job Description:

Lead the Billing and Insights charter that underpins Glean’s consumption-based pricing and product analytics. Provide expert technical direction and thoughtful coaching to a passionate team of engineers. Own the end-to-end stack that makes our AI products metered, billable, and explainable—from logging and usage pipelines to billing dashboards and product insights. Partner closely with Product, Finance, Data, and Go-To-Market to ensure every AI feature we ship is accurately metered, transparently billed, margin-positive, and easy for customers to understand.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of engineering with 2+ years of engineering management experience
  • Meaningful experience with billing, payments, pricing, or other revenue-critical systems (usage-based or subscription)
  • or you have built similarly high-integrity, auditable systems
  • Proficiency in recruiting, organizing, and motivating teams
  • Passionate about helping people grow in their careers and people management
  • An owner mindset and passionate about being in a product-focused environment where everyone cares deeply about customer impact
  • Expertise in Golang, Java, Typescript, SQL, GCP / AWS are highly desirable
