This is an exciting opportunity for Pharmacy Technicians to excel in a complex, team-oriented environment while having the opportunity to develop and strengthen technical skills and pharmacology knowledge while working from home. The Non-Clinical Divert technician is responsible for screening orders, specializing in research, review and entry of prescription overrides. Basic knowledge and understanding of a pharmacy workflow, efficient using a computer and keyboard, strong problem solving skills and the ability to think globally is key to your success. You will be essential to ensure patients receive their correct prescriptions in a timely manner and directing questionable prescriptions to the prescriber for clarification. We require our pharmacy technicians to think outside the box and get creative! To help support growth and development, technicians may be asked to perform other pharmacy functions as required. You will be expected to meet specified production and quality standards as defined by the management team.

Requirements
Pharmacy Technician license in compliance with applicable state law where applicant resides
Pennsylvania requires an active state Pharmacy Technician Registration
Texas requires an active state technician license and National Certified Pharmacy Technician license
Florida requires an active state technician license
Illinois require active state technician license AND national certification (must be marked certified on state Illinois license)
Minimum of 1 year related pharmacy technician experience
Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
Candidate must reside in the state of Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania, or Texas
A secure room free from noise and distractions, with a closing door and ergonomic-friendly work area (i.e., desk, chair)
Must have your own internet provider that can support the virtual working environment
Data Entry
Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
Strong attention to detail while multitasking through various programs
Adept at reading and interpreting prescription terminology and medications
Direct/hardwired internet connection to a modem/router within 10 feet of your computer and a minimum speed of 25 mbs download and 3 mbs upload
Secure and private home workspace free from distractions
High school diploma or equivalent
Nice to have
Has an active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)
Previous mail order or retail pharmacy experience
Rapid keyboarding skills while maintaining 100% accuracy
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret standard operating procedures
Able to understand and interpret Latin symbols commonly used on prescriptions medications and able to write routing correspondence
Recognizing, identifying, and having general knowledge of commonly used generic drugs
Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to work using computer screens for extended periods of time
