Job Description:

The Tech Center Consultant is responsible for providing technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet a customer’s business needs. Build and maintain effective customer relationships to ensure satisfaction. Provide the deepest level of product- and technology-specific expertise to support deal pursuits.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide expert answers to highly complex technical questions about HPE’s product portfolio
  • Analyze complex technical information and communicate it effectively to diverse audiences
  • Engage in technical discussions with requestors and customers
  • Acquire, maintain, and grow technical knowledge of HPE technologies and solutions
  • Understand customer business requirements from a technical perspective and use expertise to propose and configure solutions
  • Participate in complex architecture, design, and sizing activities
  • Deliver output within defined SLAs and ensure proper tracking in the ticketing system
  • Professionally manage customer expectations and address concerns effectively
  • Demonstrate technical competence in communications with customers and partners
  • Proactively learn about new products, features, and available resources
  • Take on additional responsibilities as you grow into the role
  • Share knowledge and experience with peers
  • Train and coach new colleagues
  • Carry out administrative activities related to mentioned content of work
  • Provide technical presales support to HPE Sales and Presales teams, as well as top-selling partners and distributors
  • Create Hybrid IT solutions using HPE configuration tools

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent IT background
  • Strong ability to analyze complex technical information and communicate effectively to diverse audiences
  • 2-4 years of experience in the technology industry with a focus on technical selling
  • Fluent in written and verbal English
  • Fluent in written German language
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and solve problems
  • Solid technical expertise in assigned area of specialization
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic project management capabilities
  • Good business and financial acumen
  • Knowledge of consultative selling techniques, including active listening, framing, whiteboarding, and storytelling
  • Good knowledge of O365, public AI tools, and basic Windows/Linux administration
  • Basic understanding of social media, blogging, and related information-sharing technologies
  • Industry certifications based on knowledge or experience are an advantage
