Job Description

Lead and manage the global Teamsport Marketing team responsible for PUMA’s key Football club and federation partnerships, ensuring strong team development, clear prioritization, and best-in-class execution across all activations and campaigns. Oversee the strategic marketing direction and activation plans for PUMA’s key global Football partnerships, including Manchester City, AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, Portugal national football team, and the Premier League, maximizing the impact of PUMA’s sponsorship investments through integrated global marketing strategies. Drive effective short- and long-term communication plans in partnership with the wider marketing organization for global PUMA teams and federations to maximize brand visibility, cultural relevance, and commercial impact. Oversee action plans for scheduled events, reactive opportunities, and seasonal campaigns across PUMA Football assets, including product launches, club milestones, key fixtures, tournaments, and cultural moments. In collaboration with Creative Services and agency partners, oversee the creation of premium and impactful content, including visual, video, digital, and social assets to elevate PUMA’s Football storytelling across all channels. Lead the planning and execution of PUMA’s activations during major club pre-season tours in close collaboration with global and local internal stakeholders, partnership managers, and club representatives. Lead strategic planning initiatives and provide Football teams and federations expertise to the wider Marketing organization, ensuring alignment between business objectives, product storytelling, and brand campaigns.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Brand Marketing, or Sports Marketing, preferably within the sporting goods, football, or lifestyle industry
  • Proven leadership and people management experience, with the ability to lead, develop, and inspire high-performing teams in a fast-paced global environment
  • Extensive experience in developing and leading integrated global marketing campaigns and partnership activations for major sports properties, clubs, federations, or athletes
  • Strong understanding of the global Football landscape, including club football culture, athlete marketing, fan engagement, and sponsorship ecosystems
  • Demonstrated experience managing high-profile partnerships and working with top-tier clubs, federations, agencies, and commercial stakeholders
  • Strong strategic planning and project leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating effectively with Product, Creative, Sports Marketing, PR, Social Media, Commercial, and regional marketing teams
  • Strong skills in storytelling, campaign development, agency management, budget oversight, and integrated brand communications
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong intercultural competence and stakeholder management capabilities across global markets
  • Highly organized, proactive, resilient, and solution-oriented, with the ability to perform confidently under pressure and within tight timelines
  • Fluent in English
