Job Description:

As a Teamcenter Solution Architect, you'll lead the architecture and implementation of comprehensive PLM solutions using Teamcenter. You'll work across multiple domains including Part, BOM and Document Management, Classification, Change Management, and various integrations with CAD/ERP/MES/CRM systems. This role offers the opportunity to lead enterprise-wide PLM architecture initiatives, work on complex implementations across Hi-Tech, Automotive, Aerospace & Defense industries, and drive digital transformation. You'll collaborate with global teams while managing end-to-end project execution and solution deployment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead architecture and implementation (development and testing) of Teamcenter PLM functionalities with extensive knowledge on configuration and customization solutions
  • Work across multiple domains of PLM including Part, BOM and Document Management
  • Classification
  • Change Management and CAD/ERP/MES/CRM integrations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional project teams especially PLM Architects, Business Analysts to understand functional requirements
  • Participate in requirement analysis, design technical solutions, and document them
  • Assess and define business processes, use cases, user stories and system cases for PLM functions
  • Leverage PLM industry best-practices for process and tool, and in-house global process strategy to define and document new business processes, data models and application configurations
  • Build To-Be map of processes, systems and tools
  • Translate functional requirements into specific PLM solutions, applications or process designs
  • Apply hands-on experience in Java, Teamcenter BMIDE, Microservices, Cloud, and Federated architectures in development
  • Lead the development and testing resources
  • Understand and consider risks, costs, benefits and possibilities offered by customization vs. configuration
  • Produce documented application frameworks or architectures
  • Author functional specifications and technical design
  • Collaborate with onsite & offshore teams driving project collaboration and concurrent global product development
  • Manage all activities for project execution from requirements gathering, solution development, testing to solution deployment and adoption

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
  • Teamcenter certification
  • Proven track record in complex PLM project implementations and upgrades
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
  • 9-12 years of experience with Teamcenter Implementation, Upgrades & Data Migration
  • Extensive experience in Teamcenter – CAD & Enterprise Integrations
  • Proven track record in complex PLM project implementations and upgrades
  • Exposure to industries like Hi-Tech, Heavy Equipments, Automotive, Aerospace & Defense
  • Business process knowledge in Design Data Management, Model Based Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Process Planning
