Job Description:

As a Teamcenter Migration Architect, you'll lead complex data migration projects and define migration strategies for enterprise PLM systems. You'll work closely with customers and solution architects to understand requirements and implement comprehensive migration solutions using advanced tools and methodologies. This role offers the opportunity to lead enterprise-scale data migration initiatives, work with cutting-edge migration technologies, and drive digital transformation across Hi-Tech, Automotive, Aerospace & Defense industries. You'll architect solutions that enable seamless PLM system transitions while collaborating with global teams.

Job Responsibility:

  • Define migration strategies by collaborating with customers and solution architects
  • Utilize standard migration tools like CSV2TCXML, IPS Upload, and Custom Migration utilities
  • Implement ETL tools to streamline metadata and CAD migration processes
  • Break down complex projects into manageable technical work packages
  • Manage end-to-end project execution from requirements to deployment and adoption
  • Lead onsite & offshore teams in concurrent global product development
  • Develop custom migration solutions using BMIDE, ITK, and SOA services
  • Define migration strategy by working closely with customers/solution architects to understand functional requirements
  • Use standard tools like CSV2TCXML, IPS Upload, Custom Migration utilities
  • Use ETL tools to streamline metadata and CAD migration processes
  • Break down projects into manageable technical work packages
  • Manage all activities for project execution from requirements gathering, solution development, testing to solution deployment and adoption

  • Develop and customize Teamcenter using BMIDE for data schema, attributes, and UI modifications
  • Implement server-side custom services using ITK (Integration Toolkit) in C/C++
  • Design and implement RESTful/SOAP services within Teamcenter using SOA Services
  • Perform Rich Client and Active Workspace customizations
  • Configure Preferences, ACL, Stylesheet, Workflows, Dispatcher, Microservices

Requirements:

  • 9-12 years of experience with Teamcenter Data Migration
  • Expert knowledge of migration tools (CSV2TCXML, IPS Upload, ETL tools)
  • Strong experience with BMIDE, ITK, SOA development and customization
  • Knowledge of CAD integrations (NX, SWIM, IPEM, TCIC) and ECAD tools
  • Understanding of enterprise integrations (T4S, T4O, T4EA, FN4T, CN4T)
  • Programming skills in C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python
  • Business process knowledge in Design Data Management, Model Based Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Process Planning
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
  • Teamcenter certification
  • Proven track record in complex PLM project implementations and upgrades
