The Team/Service Manager will lead, motivate, and elevate our growing team, managing services ensuring safe, person-centred, and high-quality support for adults with learning disabilities. This is a hands-on management role that balances strategic goals with day-to-day involvement in the service.
Job Responsibility:
Hold overall responsibility for the effective leadership and smooth operation of our services
Ensure individuals receive safe, responsive, and person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity, and choice
Lead by example, embedding a culture of respect, accountability, and continuous improvement
Develop and motivate staff, providing clear direction, regular supervision, and practical guidance
Monitor service delivery, staffing levels, compliance, and performance to ensure the service meets regulatory standards
Manage risk effectively, and implement improvements where needed
Work with people who need assistance with every aspect of daily living, supporting people with autism, complex/mental health needs, old/age dementia and profound and multiples disabilities
Act as the key point of contact for the service, working closely with families, social workers, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders
Champion person-centred planning, ensuring each individual has meaningful opportunities to develop life skills, access their community, build relationships, and achieve personal goals
Create a harmonious, open, and positive working environment
Requirements:
Proven experience in supervising or managing staff within health and social care
Strong understanding of person-centred practice and positive behaviour support
Candidates should have, or be working towards, RMA/LMC, Health and Social Care NVQ4 / QCF 5 or equivalent
Ability to self-motivate and work independently whilst keeping in line with LDN London’s values
