Job Description:

Team Member role at Tortilla in Birmingham, part of a family of over 60 stores united by a shared passion for serving high quality, fresh Californian Mexican food. The role involves working with fresh ingredients in a kitchen with no freezers, with opportunities for career progression.

Job Responsibility:

Handling sharp knives in a commercial kitchen environment
Cooking hot food
Preparing delicious toppings and recipes
Being cross trained in customer service
Making sure every guest gets served high quality, delicious food and leaves with a smile
Creating a happy, vibrant atmosphere

Requirements:

Must be over 18 due to health and safety laws
Keen to learn
Friendly and outgoing
Upbeat personality
Hungry to learn

Ready to work with the best, freshest and highest quality ingredients

Nice to have:

Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, hotel, coffee shop, fast food chain
Previous experience as a Pot Washer, Kitchen Porter, Kitchen Assistant, Prep Chef, Commis Chef or Line Chef
