Job Description

Exciting new opportunity in travel retail, delivering exceptional service while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment! Please make sure you are able to get to and back from the airport before you apply for this role. Job purpose: The Team Member is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a positive dining experience for guests. You will work closely with the kitchen staff and management to deliver high-quality service and contribute to the overall success of the restaurant. This role is for our Supermac's restaurant at Dublin airport. Contract: 40 hours per week, across 4 days - 11 hour shifts with 1 hour unpaid break.

Job Responsibility

  • Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly
  • Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about food and drinks
  • Serve food and beverages to customers, ensuring timely delivery
  • Monitor tables and attend to guests' needs throughout their dining experience
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and resolve issues as needed
  • Process payments and manage cash transactions accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and workstations
  • Assist with setting up and clearing tables, as well as restocking supplies
  • Report all hazards and/or concerns immediately to the manager on duty

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service role is preferred but not required
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
  • Basic math skills for handling payments and calculating bills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
