Job Responsibility:
Ensure each customer receives outstanding service
Greet customers as they enter the store
Answer the phone with a professional greeting
Tactfully and pleasantly deal with customers
Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements
Accurately and efficiently ring on POS and maintain all cash at the POS
Maintain orderly appearance of POS area and supplies stocked
Ensure that merchandise displays in the front-end area are clean, organized and well-stocked
Perform other tasks as assigned from time to time by store management
Solicit customers to sign up for an Ace Rewards Card
Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers
Call for back up cashier when 3 or more customers are in line
Participate in all store training programs
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
Standing, walking and lifting up to 25 pounds
Good communication skills
Basic math ability
Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
