Job Description
As a Team Manager at Clare Lodge Secure Children's Home, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the safe, effective, and high-quality delivery of care for children within a secure environment. Working alongside the Registered Manager, you will support the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring practice is aligned with statutory regulations, inspection frameworks, and trauma-informed principles. You will lead and manage a team of either operational or case management staff, providing regular supervision, performance oversight, and support to maintain high professional standards and staff wellbeing. The role involves strong oversight of safeguarding, care planning, and frontline practice—ensuring that all plans, risk assessments, and records are robust, up to date, and consistently implemented to promote positive outcomes for children. Working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners, including education, health, and social care professionals, you will help deliver integrated, child-centred services. You will contribute to quality assurance processes, audits, and inspection readiness, ensuring that all areas of responsibility remain compliant and evidence-led at all times. In addition, you will support operational delivery through effective resource management, rota oversight, and participation in admissions and placement processes, while being prepared to step into senior roles when required to maintain continuity of leadership.
