Lead the Innovation: Practice Development & Workforce Strategy
Drive National Reforms: Take the lead on a major strategic project: redesigning the current ASYE framework into the brand-new Early Career Development Programme
Nurture Talent: Manage the entire Social Work Career and Qualification Pathway
Inspire the Culture: Manage two Advanced Practitioners and champion a culture of continuous learning
Guard the Standards: Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO)
Serve as the primary point of contact under Working Together guidelines
Ensure Safety: Provide authoritative oversight when concerns arise regarding a professional's suitability to work with vulnerable children
Requirements
A qualified, registered Social Work Manager with a strong track record in children's services
An educator at heart who understands the ASYE framework and has the vision to lead transition reforms
A decisive professional with the confidence and analytical skill required to manage complex LADO investigations
