We are currently recruiting on behalf of Northamptonshire Children’s Trust for an experienced Team Manager to lead the Multi Agency Exploitation Hub within Children’s Services. This is a key leadership role managing a specialist team focused on safeguarding young people who are at high risk of exploitation. The successful candidate will provide direct line management to six Advanced Practitioners who coordinate a multi-agency response for young people identified as vulnerable to exploitation.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and manage the Multi Agency Exploitation Hub, providing direct supervision and support to Advanced Practitioners
Coordinate and oversee multi-agency responses for young people at risk of exploitation
Provide advice and guidance to locality teams regarding complex exploitation cases
Analyse risk, contribute to safety planning, and ensure appropriate safeguarding interventions
Chair and contribute to complex exploitation meetings
Support the development of community mapping and hotspot identification to identify patterns of exploitation
Ensure practice aligns with national and local safeguarding policies, including contextual safeguarding approaches
Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with relevant Social Work qualification and 3 years perm experience within a local authority
Minimum 4 years’ experience working as a Team Manager within Children’s Social Care
Extensive experience working with children and young people at risk of criminal exploitation, sexual exploitation, or trafficking
Strong understanding of contextual safeguarding and trauma-informed practice
Proven experience in risk assessment, safety planning, and complex case management
Experience working within multi-agency safeguarding environments
Sexual Exploitation training
