If so, Birmingham Children’s Trust wants you! We are recruiting for a talented and passionate individual to join the Trust as a Team Manager within our busy and creative Children in Care Service.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and coach team to provide outstanding performance
  • Oversee care planning for children and young people
  • Manage day-to-day requirements of a busy Children in Care team
  • Support team to form consistent relationships and connections with children and young people through a trauma informed lens
  • Work in collaboration with other professionals across the Trust and alongside other agencies
  • Deliver and disseminate service priorities within team
  • Ensure high standards of practice and positive outcomes for children
  • Lead a team of social workers, adopting connections count, relationship-based practice model

Requirements:

  • Excellent time management and organisations skills
  • High levels of resilience, managing and prioritizing demanding workloads
  • Excellent people management and strong leadership skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external partner agencies
  • Good problem solver, supporting team to make best interest decisions for children in line with legislative, regulatory and best practice guidelines
  • Use management information systems to maintain and drive good performance and quality of practice
  • Demonstrate professionalism, leadership and accountability
  • Possess excellent skills in problem solving, analysis and planning
