Job Responsibility:
Lead and coach team to provide outstanding performance
Oversee care planning for children and young people
Manage day-to-day requirements of a busy Children in Care team
Support team to form consistent relationships and connections with children and young people through a trauma informed lens
Work in collaboration with other professionals across the Trust and alongside other agencies
Deliver and disseminate service priorities within team
Ensure high standards of practice and positive outcomes for children
Lead a team of social workers, adopting connections count, relationship-based practice model
Requirements:
Excellent time management and organisations skills
High levels of resilience, managing and prioritizing demanding workloads
Excellent people management and strong leadership skills
Ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external partner agencies
Good problem solver, supporting team to make best interest decisions for children in line with legislative, regulatory and best practice guidelines
Use management information systems to maintain and drive good performance and quality of practice
Demonstrate professionalism, leadership and accountability
Possess excellent skills in problem solving, analysis and planning
What we offer:
Incentive payment of £1,000 paid in full in first months’ salary
Retention bonus of £5,000 per annum paid in monthly instalments
