Job Description:

Team Leader role at the St Helens Supported Living service, which caters to twelve tenants living across nine bungalows. The tenants are adults with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and additional needs. The role involves leading a team to deliver person-centred care and support tenants to live their lives their way.

Job Responsibility:

Lead and inspire a team to deliver outstanding, person-centred care
Organise rotas and ensure the right staffing levels at all times
Support with training, development, and supervision of staff
Work alongside customers to achieve their goals and promote independence
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
Step in to provide hands-on care and administer medication when needed

Requirements:

Experience in a supervisory role within a care setting
A relevant qualification (NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent)
Good communication, organisational, and leadership skills
A warm, supportive, and motivating approach to working with others
Willingness to work flexibly and take part in the on-call rota
