Team Leader role at St Teresa's service, supporting adults with physical disabilities to live their lives their way. A relaxed, supportive, people-focused service where every day is different. Full-time role with flexibility to work across weekdays and weekends as part of a rota, including participation in an on-call system.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and inspire a team to deliver outstanding, person-centred care
Organise rotas and ensure the right staffing levels at all times
Support with training, development, and supervision of staff
Work alongside customers to achieve their goals and promote independence
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
Step in to provide hands-on care and administer medication when needed
Requirements:
Experience in a supervisory role within a care setting
A relevant qualification (NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent)
Good communication, organisational, and leadership skills
A warm, supportive, and motivating approach to working with others
Willingness to work flexibly and take part in the on-call rota
