As the leader of a GBO People Services team, you're responsible to lead one of the GBO People Services teams for India, which is responsible for P&C processes (Personnel Administration, Payroll, Recruitment, Onboarding, Offboarding, Benefits, Learning and Development) as per defined and agreed scope, execute delivery of services on high professional standard and strive to meet or exceed agreed service levels.
Job Responsibility
Lead the country Personnel Administration/Payroll team to deliver high-quality services efficiently, including monthly and yearly activities
ensure efficient and high-quality PA/PY service delivery in line with global procedures and local legal requirements
adhere to defined KPIs/SLAs
act as an expert, leading solution implementation
develop team competence through coaching and training
resolve issues, manage escalations, and follow up on outstanding topics promptly
drive continuous process improvement
closely cooperate with Project Leader to secure migration plan for any transferring/transitioning services
active participation & coordination in relevant project deliverables
foster strong relationships with partners
allocate resources effectively and create a motivated, high-performing team environment
manage, coach, and develop team members, strengthening their knowledge, skills, and engagement
recruit and onboard competent new co-workers
motivate the team to deliver outstanding service

Requirements
Minimum 12+ years of experience in HR, particularly in payroll and personnel administration (PA/PY)
advanced understanding of pay-the-worker processes
familiarity with HR-related tax and legal matters
comprehensive understanding of the IKEA HR system landscape
proficiency in modern office practices, procedures, and equipment
basic understanding of the IKEA system
potential management or leadership skills
strong knowledge of HR Processes (including Payroll) (with min. 5 years of experience) preferably IN (India) HR processes
min 3-5yrs of People Manager experience
communication in English
