Under general supervision of the General Manager – Supply Chain, oversees the various functions of the warehouse. This position is categorized as compliance critical and, as such, requires and is assigned specific responsibility for ensuring continual and proper compliance with all division, corporate and regulatory requirements. The Team Leader – Warehouse Logistics, will ensure all Logistics Procedures described in the SOPs are carried out in proper and timely manner for both Clinical and Commercial activities. This function is also responsible for the organization of the Logistic team in order to ensure all daily tasks are fully accomplished according to Client requirements. This is a hands on position and as such, this position will need to learn all aspects of both Clinical and Commercial CSS and support the team actively with daily tasks.
Job Responsibility:
Directs the workflow, motivates, trains and monitors the performance of warehouse associates
Responsible for developing and managing daily schedules and work plans
Assists in the process of selection, training, career development and performance management
Monitors work processes and implements modifications to increase productivity
Oversees the Distribution Centers department staff
Have extensive knowledge about all operating procedures
Organize all operating Personnel in the daily tasks
Actively participates and promotes continuous improvement initiatives
Supports compliance with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and regulations
Ensures the maintenance of records documenting order filling process
Document, monitor, and evaluate performance and activity for each direct report
Collaborates with other Company departments to make reports
Scheduling of depot rosters/shifts
Responsible for planning and tracking daily orders and activities
Oversees the quality of picking and packing
Interaction verbally and via email with customers in resolving issues
Assist all Operational Managers, Pharmaceutical staff, Operational Team Leaders and Client Services team
Act as a logistics resource and provide recommendations
Required to be on call 24/7
Participate in reviewing and authoring global and local Standard Operating Procedures
Work in all temperature controlled environments
Review all work to ensure performance is completed in accordance with established procedures
Manage the cold chamber cleaning schedule
Physically perform packing process of inbound, outbound and returned shipments
Participate in scheduled weekend tasks for stock control
Lead continuous Improvement initiatives
Must be willing to participate in physical inventory as scheduled
Performs related duties as assigned
Perform any other duties which the employee has been trained for

Requirements:
Logistics Degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience
Three or more years experience in Operations/ Logistics or Warehousing
Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg using safe work methods
Minimum Year 12 VCE or equivalent
Have minimum 2 years logistics & warehousing experience in a leadership position
Current forklift license - counter balance and electric reach trucks
