Job Description

Start the HOPPA trainee leadership program and jump from co-worker to team leader in one year. To proactively ensure success for the future, IKEA Belgium is looking for Trainee Managers for various departments and units. In your position of Trainee Manager, you will participate in a nationally driven Trainee Program. This program has been put together to prepare you for a position of Teamleader within a period of 1 to 1.5 years. The program consists of: Introduction to the different departments of the IKEA store; Nationally organised management and leadership training; Learning moments with Trainee Managers from the different branches and from different departments; An individual development plan; A challenging project linked to the department where you will be employed; Defined evaluation moments to support you in your development.

  • Develop your management and leadership skills
  • Develop functional knowledge of your own department through a learning programme
  • Learn and grow as an individual through group learning moments, an individual development plan, coaching and follow-up
