Job Description:

We’re looking for a proactive and motivated Team Leader to oversee our Stores Operation team, ensuring that safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are consistently achieved. You’ll play a key role in leading and developing your team, driving performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and manage the Stores team on a day-to-day basis, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are met
  • Monitor performance and support development through regular appraisals, coaching, and training
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping, hygiene, and discipline in line with company policy
  • Ensure all production and material movements are accurately recorded on IFS to support data integrity and performance reporting
  • Liaise with Production, Planning, Purchasing, and other internal departments to maintain smooth workflow and meet customer requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing to enhance efficiency
  • Manage replenishment processes, ensuring materials and stock are available to meet daily production plans
  • Support audits and compliance

Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading or supervising a team of 15+ within a manufacturing or warehouse environment (minimum 2 years)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop others
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Computer literate and confident using ERP or warehouse systems (e.g., IFS)
  • NEBBS/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification (ILM Level 3 desirable or willingness to work towards it)
