We’re looking for a proactive and motivated Team Leader to oversee our Stores Operation team, ensuring that safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are consistently achieved. You’ll play a key role in leading and developing your team, driving performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and manage the Stores team on a day-to-day basis, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are met
Monitor performance and support development through regular appraisals, coaching, and training
Maintain high standards of housekeeping, hygiene, and discipline in line with company policy
Ensure all production and material movements are accurately recorded on IFS to support data integrity and performance reporting
Liaise with Production, Planning, Purchasing, and other internal departments to maintain smooth workflow and meet customer requirements
Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing to enhance efficiency
Manage replenishment processes, ensuring materials and stock are available to meet daily production plans
Support audits and compliance
Requirements:
Proven experience leading or supervising a team of 15+ within a manufacturing or warehouse environment (minimum 2 years)
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop others
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
Computer literate and confident using ERP or warehouse systems (e.g., IFS)
NEBBS/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification (ILM Level 3 desirable or willingness to work towards it)
