Job Description:

This role will be based at Springhill House, in Accrington. The home has been specially designed to cater to the every need of 116 residents, living with a range of physical, age related and mental health conditions that require dignified support from our caring team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leading, managing and supporting your care team
  • Ensuring care plans are regularly reviewed
  • Encouraging your team and engaging with residents
  • Administering and recording medication as prescribed
  • To assist where necessary with each client’s personal care
  • To assist clients at mealtimes
  • To answer emergency calls speedily
  • To assist any residents with mobility difficulties

Requirements:

  • Prior experience within a caring role, ideally at a Senior level
  • Patient, understanding and respectful nature
  • Genuine caring nature and a desire to make a real difference
  • Experience of leading a team is highly desirable

  • work on a shift pattern basis (includes weekends, bank holidays, and nights) to support the wider Customer Operations Team
  • communicate incidents and customer trends daily to the Customer Operations Team and help the rep team find quick and efficient solutions
  • obtain and communicate data during daily operational disruptions
  • work at various UK airports as required, with pre-agreed petrol costs/expenses covered when not working at your pre-agreed base
  • always ensure the best possible level of customer care and service, balancing business and commercial needs
  • manage the team, keeping each staff member accountable for service delivered to customers
