Job Responsibility:
Lead and manage a team of Immigration Officers and Senior Officers, ensuring effective performance, development, and engagement
Execute the day-to-day operations of immigration operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of employment permits, visas, and international transfers
Execute international transfers and secondments (including but not limited to coordinating immigration vendors, coordinating process with employees and People teams, preparing required documentation)
Manage the documentation process for employment permits, including tracking expiration dates, collecting cost approvals, and raising orders for renewals
Ensure that all required documentation for international transfers and secondments is prepared accurately and in a timely manner
Act as the first point of escalation for employment permit change, renewal, and international transfer-related queries, delivering excellent customer service and resolution
Ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations, proactively identifying risks and implementing controls to mitigate them
Ensure that all immigration and relocation processes are standardized and aligned with global policies while being responsive to local market needs
Liaise with other People Operations teams to ensure seamless integration of immigration processes with broader People functions
Communicate effectively with employees and stakeholders regarding immigration-related queries and processes
Track and report on all employment permit changes and renewals documentation activities across all regions, ensuring adherence to agreed SLAs
Requirements:
3+ years’ experience in global mobility or employment permit administration, legal background would be considered as advantage
Experience in immigration and/or internal mobility
Experience in team management or a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment
Experience in Immigration and/or internal global mobility
Fluent in English (both in speaking and writing), other language would be considered as advantage
Higher education
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment
Ability to prioritize tasks when working with high volume of assignments
High attention to detail combined with computer literacy (MS Word, Excel)
Positive attitude and good communication skills, strong stakeholders’ management skills
Project management skills and experience would be considered as advantage
