Job Responsibility

  • Lead and manage a team of Immigration Officers and Senior Officers, ensuring effective performance, development, and engagement
  • Execute the day-to-day operations of immigration operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of employment permits, visas, and international transfers
  • Execute international transfers and secondments (including but not limited to coordinating immigration vendors, coordinating process with employees and People teams, preparing required documentation)
  • Manage the documentation process for employment permits, including tracking expiration dates, collecting cost approvals, and raising orders for renewals
  • Ensure that all required documentation for international transfers and secondments is prepared accurately and in a timely manner
  • Act as the first point of escalation for employment permit change, renewal, and international transfer-related queries, delivering excellent customer service and resolution
  • Ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations, proactively identifying risks and implementing controls to mitigate them
  • Ensure that all immigration and relocation processes are standardized and aligned with global policies while being responsive to local market needs
  • Liaise with other People Operations teams to ensure seamless integration of immigration processes with broader People functions
  • Communicate effectively with employees and stakeholders regarding immigration-related queries and processes
  • Track and report on all employment permit changes and renewals documentation activities across all regions, ensuring adherence to agreed SLAs

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in global mobility or employment permit administration, legal background would be considered as advantage
  • Experience in immigration and/or internal mobility
  • Experience in team management or a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment
  • Experience in Immigration and/or internal global mobility
  • Fluent in English (both in speaking and writing), other language would be considered as advantage
  • Higher education
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks when working with high volume of assignments
  • High attention to detail combined with computer literacy (MS Word, Excel)
  • Positive attitude and good communication skills, strong stakeholders’ management skills
  • Project management skills and experience would be considered as advantage
