Under guidance from Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating, monitoring, supervising and executing the activities of one or more warehouse areas. Assists in the development of departmental personnel to enhance skills, improve responsiveness.
Job Responsibility
Ensures that departmental goals are achieved by communicating established objectives
Communicates overall organizational directives
Maximizes employee participation to achieve the desired team approach
Ensures that employees are at work on time, actively engaged in their assigned departments and conforming to established safety regulations
Ensures that all company policies are followed
Provides immediate performance feedback, assisting in short-term resolution of emergency situations (e.g., injuries), safety issues, attendance issues, conduct, etc
Provides input to Warehouse Supervisor for reporting reasons on Warehouse operations, employee performance/conduct and process flow
Ensure that time and attendance for assigned employees is accurate in data collection system
Will need to be able to handle multiple responsibilities at one time and must be able to deal effectively with people using a facilitative approach
Works with Warehouse Supervisor to ensure that departmental goals are achieved
Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet objectives
To support PIP saving project
Completion of shift reports and handovering of shift operation to next reliever
To take on responsibility for the control of failed quality components and manage Kanban, FIFO/shelf life materials
Directing & controlling shift wise output of the team
Ensures 5S in the area of control
Coordinate with Production team, Material planning team, quality team, other warehouse teams, etc to achieve daily production goals
Ensures space optimization, stock accuracy, bin accuracy in warehouse
Supervise material movement activity, Upkeeping of MHE, weighing m/c
Ensures that High level of SAP transactions & Material handling discipline is maintained in warehouse
Requirements
Bachelor’s in related curriculum such as B.Com with Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Diploma with 5 Years of relevant Experience
Nice to have
Proficiency in SAP will be added advantage as it relates to time and attendance, material transactions, etc
Very good interpersonal, communication & people management skills
