This role oversees and manages the day-to-day operations of 4 Supported Independent Living (SIL) sites based in Gladstone. This role’s ideal applicant would be someone that is a hands-on leader, that is a values and purpose driven with leadership style that promotes honest and integrity in your work and can do this autonomously. As a local leader you will have a new vision and understand of the NDIS with the growth mindset for the Endeavour portfolio within the Gladstone region. The Team leader, be the driving force behind a service that’s truly person-centred. As a trusted leader you will manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the clients, staff and quality of service in our home facilities.
Job Responsibility:
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the NDIS Quality & Safeguarding Framework
Identify and highlight growth opportunities through client interactions
Review rosters, leave, timesheets and performance of Support Workers
Foster a supportive and respectful community-centric environment incorporating the interests of families & guardians
Ensure team members are fully trained and aware of individual client requirements, taking accountability for staff compliance
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in human services or equivalent tertiary education is desirable
At least 3 years’ experience working in leadership roles
Strong background in disability and with NDIS experience
Hold NDIS Yellow Card, Blue Card, Police check and Drivers Licence
