Job Description:

We’re looking for a capable and proactive Team Leader to lead our Day Shift operations in the GMP Manufacturing areas. Reporting to the Line Manager, you’ll oversee a team of machine operators and coordinate resources to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality production outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and support Health, Safety & Environment (SH&E) initiatives, ensuring compliance and promoting a “Safer Place Because of Me” culture
  • Deliver the production plan efficiently while maintaining high product quality and hygiene standards
  • Coach and develop team members, supporting performance, growth, and accountability
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in processes and practices
  • Collaborate with Planning, Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, and People & Culture teams to ensure timely resource coordination
  • Maintain compliance with audit and collective agreement requirements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in FMCG
  • Proven experience in manufacturing leadership (3–5 years preferred)
  • Occupational Health & Safety experience in a production environment
  • Intermediate PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Certificate-level trade or industry qualifications preferred
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Problem-solving mindset with a continuous improvement focus
  • Financial acumen and ability to manage costs and resources effectively
  • Workflow planning and time management expertise
  • People leadership capabilities—mentoring, coaching, and team building
