Rocket Money is looking for a Data Analytics leader to manage a small group of Data Analysts and Data Scientists, supporting the Growth Marketing team. The role involves leading a high-impact team, owning critical analytics infrastructure, driving the analytics roadmap, shaping measurement strategy, bridging business and data, and delivering with accountability.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead a high-impact team: Manage Data Analysts, Senior Data Analysts, and Data Scientists
  • Own critical analytics infrastructure: Help evolve our LTV model
  • Collaborate with Analytics Engineering and mar-tech teams to build scalable data models
  • Build robust self-service systems that are scalable in dbt and Looker
  • Drive the analytics roadmap: Partner with Growth Marketing leadership to define quarterly priorities
  • Champion self-service analytics and simplify our data stack
  • Shape measurement strategy: Stay ahead of industry changes in marketing analytics
  • Lead experimental design for incrementality testing, new marketing signals, and vendor evaluation
  • Use tech stack including Haus and Recast for MMM measurement
  • Bridge business and data: Translate ambiguous marketing challenges into clear data problems
  • Foster strong cross-functional relationships
  • Deliver with accountability: Own ambitious yet achievable commitments

Requirements:

  • Deep expertise in data analytics and a strong understanding of data systems and processes, especially delivery of scalable, repeatable self service analytics
  • 5+ years of experience managing data analytics professionals in the marketing space
  • Experience working with marketing data tools like Haus, Singular, Segment, and Amplitude as well as data tools like BigQuery, Looker, and Deepnote
  • Excellent SQL skills and proficiency in python for statistical analysis and experimentation
  • Direct experience with attribution modeling and incrementality testing, and understanding of how privacy changes have reshaped marketing measurement
  • Experience as a Looker whiz and overseeing implementation of successful self-service environments
  • Ability to tailor management style to suit employees
  • Excel at stakeholder management and building effective relationships across the organization
  • Demand proactive involvement from team
  • Want to continue to grow and learn
  • Experience in fintech, banking, or finance is a plus
  • Mobile advertising measurement experience is a plus
