We are looking for a therapeutically minded female Team Leader to help establish a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in this newly opened home.
Job Responsibility:
Play a key role in the daily running of this newly opened home, ensuring the highest standard of therapeutically informed care
Develop safe, supportive relationships with children and act as a role model
Follow the PACE model (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy)
Ensure the home operates in line with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding guidelines
Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and behaviour management
Requirements:
Female Candidate (Due to needing a balance of female and males across our team)
Minimum 18 months experience in children's residential care
Holds or is working towards a Level 3 / 4 in Children & Young People or equivalent (willing to enrol on Level 4 or 5 later)
Solid understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and relevant legislation
Demonstrates leadership skills, empathy, patience, and strength of character
Holds a Full UK Driving License
