Job Description

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people? We are recruiting for an experienced and compassionate Team Leader to join a Children's Residential Home supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people in a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment while leading and motivating a dedicated care team.

Job Responsibility

  • Leading shifts and supporting Residential Support Workers
  • Supporting young people with daily routines, education and activities
  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Supporting safeguarding and care planning processes
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports
  • Deputising for management when required
  • Creating a safe, supportive and child-centred environment

Requirements

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Experience working within Children's Residential Care
  • Previous senior or leadership experience desirable
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge
  • Compassionate, resilient and supportive approach
  • Full UK driving licence
