We are looking for a dedicated Team Leader to join our Adults Day Service, supporting adults with varied learning disabilities to live fulfilling, independent, and meaningful lives. You will lead a team of Support Workers and play a key role in shaping engaging, creative, and empowering day opportunities. From arts and crafts, music sessions, and life-skills development to community activities and events, no two days are the same. You will also support with community transport arrangements and help individuals build confidence accessing local opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in care who is looking to take the next step in leadership.
Job Responsibility
Leading and motivating a team to deliver exceptional, person-centred day opportunities
Planning and facilitating creative, meaningful, and inclusive activities
Supporting safe and effective community transport and driving service vehicles where needed
Ensuring individuals are supported to access the community confidently and safely
Promoting independence, wellbeing, choice, and integration
Working in line with CQC and organisational standards
Building strong partnerships with families, carers, and local community groups
Requirements
Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities
Previous senior or leadership experience is desirable
Creative, enthusiastic, and passionate about empowering others
Strong communication and team leadership skills
A full UK driving licence is essential (D1 desirable)
