Job Description

The Team Leader – Finance will oversee day-to-day accounting and receivables operations, manage a small team, and ensure compliance with statutory and company policies. This role combines leadership, process improvement, and hands-on execution to maintain healthy cash flows, accurate reporting, and operational efficiency.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead, mentor, and train a team of accountants and AR
  • Allocate work, set priorities, and monitor
  • Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for accounting and
  • Supervise end-to-end AR processes: invoicing, payment follow-ups, escalations, and
  • Monitor AR aging reports and implement proactive collection
  • Handle high-value client escalations and negotiate payment plans where
  • Oversee bookkeeping, journal entries, and ledger
  • Ensure GST, TDS, PT, and other statutory
  • Coordinate with auditors for statutory, tax, and internal
  • Prepare monthly MIS, cash flow forecasts, and management
  • Provide insights on revenue trends, cost control, and working capital
  • Support budgeting and financial planning
  • Identify gaps in current workflows and recommend automation or system
  • Support ERP/finance software implementation and
  • Drive adoption of digital tools for improved reporting and collections

Requirements

  • Education: Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance)
  • Experience: 4–6 years in accounting & AR roles, with at least 1–2 years in a team lead/supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, GST, TDS, and
  • Proficiency in Tally, Zoho, or similar accounting platforms
