The Team Leader – Finance will oversee day-to-day accounting and receivables operations, manage a small team, and ensure compliance with statutory and company policies. This role combines leadership, process improvement, and hands-on execution to maintain healthy cash flows, accurate reporting, and operational efficiency.
Job Responsibility:
Lead, mentor, and train a team of accountants and AR
Allocate work, set priorities, and monitor
Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for accounting and
Supervise end-to-end AR processes: invoicing, payment follow-ups, escalations, and
Monitor AR aging reports and implement proactive collection
Handle high-value client escalations and negotiate payment plans where
Oversee bookkeeping, journal entries, and ledger
Ensure GST, TDS, PT, and other statutory
Coordinate with auditors for statutory, tax, and internal
Prepare monthly MIS, cash flow forecasts, and management
Provide insights on revenue trends, cost control, and working capital
Support budgeting and financial planning
Identify gaps in current workflows and recommend automation or system
Support ERP/finance software implementation and
Drive adoption of digital tools for improved reporting and collections
Requirements:
Education: Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance)
Experience: 4–6 years in accounting & AR roles, with at least 1–2 years in a team lead/supervisory role
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, GST, TDS, and
Proficiency in Tally, Zoho, or similar accounting platforms
