Job Description:

At Nena Ace Hardware, our mission is simple: Amaze Every Customer Every Time. As a Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in upholding our Core Values and ensuring seamless store operations. You will be the go-to person in the absence of key store management, guiding our team and creating memorable customer experiences.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leader on Duty: Open and/or close the store as per schedule, and confidently take charge as the 'Manager on Duty' when management staff is unavailable
  • Store Operations: Direct the store team, follow company policies and procedures, manage merchandise receiving, handle cash register transactions, reconcile daily cash, and maintain inventory control
  • Issue Resolution: Address and report any employee, customer, or product issues that arise during your shift
  • Safety Champion: Enforce safety policies and procedures, leading by example to create a safe and secure environment

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preferred
  • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of retail experience
  • Proficiency in computer systems and related software
  • Strong data analysis and record-keeping skills
  • Initiative, responsibility, and thorough execution of tasks
  • Ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels of the organization
