Job Description

As a Team Lead, you will report to the Store Manager and support the Management Team in fostering an inclusive, positive team environment. You will play a key role in driving store success by leading the team to achieve sales and profit goals, while also contributing to recruiting, performance management, training, and development efforts.

Job Responsibility

  • Drive the store’s performance by ensuring alignment with company objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Lead daily operations by effectively managing policies, procedures, shrink/loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and staff scheduling
  • Execute merchandising strategies while maintaining a clean, consistent, and welcoming store environment that enhances the customer shopping experience
  • Coach and mentor team members through regular feedback and on-the-spot training to support their development and improve performance
  • Foster open and effective communication with the Store Manager and District Manager to ensure alignment and operational efficiency

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months of leadership or supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment
  • Proven ability to motivate and guide a team toward shared goals
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting while delivering an exceptional customer experience
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends
  • Clothing Retail experience an asset
