Our fast-paced Compliance team is looking for an experienced professional to lead our Acquiring Card Scheme Compliance team in APAC. The role is based in Singapore. You will lead a team of compliance officers based in our Singapore and Tokyo offices, maintain oversight of card scheme rules and operational teams, support strategic business growth while meeting compliance goals, and collaborate closely with other teams in order to identify and mitigate risks for Adyen and its customers. You will need to work closely with different teams globally across all levels in the organization, you will represent Adyen externally in a diversity of forums. You will also be involved with strategic company initiatives.
Job Responsibility:

Leads the team towards targets and required quality, resolving deficiencies and managing improvement
Makes key individual contributions to the team’s work products when needed to ensure quality requirements and/or required delivery timelines are met
Represent the team on a variety of work streams and products to establish strategies that align with global objectives and ensure controlled and compliant growth
Strengthen knowledge and education management across the global business
Handle escalations from senior management
Advise internal stakeholders and liaise with external stakeholders as well as relevant auditors
Be an ambassador of the Adyen Formula
Requirements:
At least 5 years experience in payments/Credit Card industry and/or second line compliance functions
Demonstrable experience as a people manager
Initiative on developing teams and managing workflows
Innovative, with strong problem-solving capabilities and able to define robust processes and procedures
Able to serve as an escalation point to varied card network compliance challenges
Strong knowledge of card network rules
Solid interpersonal skills, specifically able to liaise and connect with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and Merchants from varying disciplines and cultures
Comfortable addressing senior management
Able to influence across all levels of the organization
Must be willing to travel, both domestically and internationally where required
