Job Description

We're looking for a dynamic, hands-on leader and exceptional stakeholder manager to head our Procurement Excellence team. This pivotal role is at the forefront of managing our third-party lifecycle and mitigating critical risk. You will lead the team responsible for ensuring speed and compliance throughout the entire vendor process, from seamless onboarding and due diligence to advanced risk management, all while meeting global regulatory requirements. This position is a key part of Adyen's Procurement & Vendor Management team, a high-impact global function within our Finance organization. Job Responsibility

  • Enabling your team to effectively manage the third party lifecycle, from onboarding, risk assessments to performance management and periodic reviews to off-boarding and regulatory reporting
  • Build and coach a best-in-class procurement excellence team managing Adyen’s third party risk management
  • Manage your team on operational tasks like vendor onboarding and due diligence in their respective fields (Security, Data Privacy, Regulatory and Compliance)
  • Tracking and reporting on the third party lifecycle to the procurement team, playing an advisory role while maintaining the highest standards of third party management
  • Act as a business partner to internal business owners on risk related topics and work closely together with regulatory on assessments and reporting

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years experience in procurement or vendor management, of which 4 years in a leadership position
  • Strong knowledge of the regulatory framework related to financial institutions of a global company (eg. DORA/EBA)
  • Data driven and have an analytical mindset, is able to translate policies into operational workflows
  • You're a natural networker, great in stakeholder management and negotiations
  • You're well-organized and like to solve problems with a pragmatic approach
  • You're proficient in English
  • fluency in another language is an added advantage
  • You have a global mindset, and are able to work across time zones and cultures
