Tesla Government, Inc. seeks a team lead who will manage a team of Portals Engagement and Outreach Specialists who support U.S. and multinational partners operating in complex, mission-driven environments where timely, accurate information sharing is critical.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage a team of Portals Engagement and Outreach Specialists, determining prioritization of projects, monitoring quality and output, supporting professional development, and establishing and maintaining standards
  • Support Tesla and client program goals
  • Own prioritization of team efforts in alignment with client and company goals
  • Engage with stakeholders of varying seniority, priorities, and levels of platform adoption
  • Interact with clients in person, over the phone, and through email to build and maintain relationships
  • Provide trainings to users on navigating and leveraging the GovShare platform
  • Maintain detailed understanding of GovShare platform’s capabilities
  • Guide users in structuring and maintaining their information
  • Manage extensive compilations of reports
  • Continuously improve how information is presented
  • Ensure that information is shared appropriately
  • Understand user base’s needs and use cases
  • Enforce Tesla’s security policies with all clients
  • Manage platform access
  • Identify trends to inform platform improvements
  • Support business development needs
  • Occasional travel to client sites

Requirements:

  • 4 years experience working with the US government or military, including experience leading projects or teams
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex projects with multiple milestones, deadlines, and stakeholders
  • Experience with customer/user relationship management
  • Ability to delegate tasks to ensure execution of complex projects with little supervision
  • Comfort with public speaking
  • US citizenship and ability to acquire a security clearance

Nice to have:

  • Deployments in support of the US government or military
  • Experience participating in multinational partner exercises with the US government or military
  • Overseas work experience
  • BA/BS/MS in foreign affairs, history, area studies, political science, governmental studies, national security, or a related field
  • Knowledge of FreeMarker Template Language (FTL), HTML, or Java
  • Fluency in a language other than English
  • A security clearance
