Job Description:

Manage the IT infrastructure (Storage, Servers and Database) to ensure the smooth operation of the computer systems applications.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensures production environments uptime
  • Manages and allocates the resources within the IT infrastructure and production for the provision of quality services
  • To perform diagnostic, root cause analysis and problem solving of Windows Servers 2016/2019, Linux server , Citrix XenApps , HPE Simplivity, VMware ESX server, HK Clearing House Faster Payment System, HPE SAN storage etc.
  • Assists in implementation of new systems/upgrades and provides for necessary staff training
  • Evaluates and introduces new third parties’ products to improve efficiency, effectiveness and achieve cost saving
  • Analyses alternatives vendors, negotiates with and selects vendor for IT equipment and services
  • Provides quality advice, and problem management
  • Follows up IT audit recommendation

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
  • At least 5 years related IT experience
