Job Description

As Team Lead Mobile, you will lead our Mobile team in delivering our beautifully designed iOS and Android apps. With a strong understanding of both current and future business needs, you will take ownership of delivering new features and enhancements. Your leadership will foster the team's growth through mentorship and the continuous optimisation of workflows and processes. This position is permanent and based in Munich.

Job Responsibility

  • Work closely with your Product Manager, taking ownership of technology to execute the product strategy while ensuring a high-quality user experience
  • Mentor mobile apps engineers, supporting their growth and career development
  • Oversee the team's delivery by planning and scoping engineering work, ensuring commitments are met and collaborating effectively with stakeholders
  • Continuously refine the team's workflows and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness through ongoing optimisation

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading a mobile apps development team with a strong track record of mentoring and supporting engineers in their professional growth
  • Deep knowledge of mobile apps architecture and design patterns
  • Strong expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, and the iOS frameworks and ecosystem and solid understanding of Android development, including Kotlin and the Android frameworks and ecosystem
  • A product-driven approach to engineering, ensuring technical decisions directly support overarching business goals
  • Expertise in leveraging and integrating Agentic AI into engineering workflows to radically accelerate the software development lifecycle
  • Fluency in English
