The project is a greenfield initiative in the mortgage domain focused on building a modern, scalable platform that integrates AI-driven decision-making, high-throughput data processing, and robust backend services. The system will manage end-to-end workflows related to loan processing and customer engagement, integrating with both internal and external APIs.
Job Responsibility:
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java 17+ and Spring Boot
Work within a microservices architecture, ensuring system stability and performance
Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and service integrations
Lead a team, managing workload, priorities, and task assignment
Provide technical guidance and support to the team, including mentoring and knowledge sharing
Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical decisions when required
Collaborate with architects, QA, and stakeholders to align on technical and delivery goals
Remain hands-on with development while balancing Team Lead responsibilities
Requirements:
4+ years of backend development experience with Java
Strong proficiency in Java 17+ and Spring Boot (3.x)
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases (Firestore or similar)
Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka and/or RabbitMQ
Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs
Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
Cloud experience with GCP (or other cloud providers) is a plus
Ability to lead team workload, priorities, and task distribution
English proficiency at B2 level or higher
