Lead a team focused on building and maintaining connectors within the financial ecosystem, ensuring seamless communication between Qargo and external systems such as accounting, factoring, and e-invoicing platforms. Combine technical leadership with hands-on collaboration, guiding your team in designing scalable and reliable integrations while supporting cross-functional teams and external partners.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead a team of engineers working on integrations between Qargo and external systems in the financial domain (accounting, factoring, e-invoicing)
  • Guide the team both technically and functionally: supporting solution design, reviewing code, and ensuring scalability and maintainability of the connectors
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success teams to guarantee smooth implementation and follow-up
  • Design support procedures to make other teams self-sustainable and keep engineering productivity high
  • Act as a point of contact for external partners and customers when implementing or validating new integrations
  • Drive roadmap management by providing estimations in both complexity and implementation effort for customer requirements
  • Support the professional growth of your team through mentoring, coaching, and hands-on collaboration

Requirements

  • Several years of experience as a software engineer, ideally with backend development and systems integration
  • Experience mentoring or leading engineering teams
  • Strong understanding of APIs, system interoperability, and integration best practices (REST, GraphQL, JSON, XML, authentication standards)
  • Comfortable reading API documentation, working across team boundaries, and communicating with external stakeholders
  • Takes ownership, thinks pragmatically, and knows how to balance speed, quality, and maintainability
  • Eager to use AI to optimise time spent

Nice to have

  • Experience with Python and Django
  • Familiarity with accounting or finance systems (or a curiosity to dive into them)
