The Team LeadEpic Beacon/Research/Dialysis Team Lead serves as a lead technical and operational resource supporting the design, optimization, and maintenance of Epic modules related to clinical research and oncology workflows. This role collaborates closely with clinicians, researchers, and operational leaders to translate complex requirements into efficient, compliant, and patient-centered system solutions. The analyst provides advanced configuration, builds workflows, supports integrations, and ensures data accuracy across oncology and research applications. With a deep understanding of Epic functionality, clinical processes, and regulatory considerations, this senior-level resource enhances system performance, drives workflow optimization, supports research initiatives, and ensures that providers and staff have the tools needed to deliver safe, effective, and data-driven patient care.

Job Responsibility:

  • Serves as a lead technical and operational resource supporting the design, optimization, and maintenance of Epic modules related to clinical research and oncology workflows
  • Collaborates closely with clinicians, researchers, and operational leaders to translate complex requirements into efficient, compliant, and patient-centered system solutions

  • Enhances system performance, drives workflow optimization, supports research initiatives, and ensures that providers and staff have the tools needed to deliver safe, effective, and data-driven patient care
  • Oversees application projects, driving innovation and operational efficiency while coordinating project teams and ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  • Leads day-to-day operations, mentors team members, provides the highest level of support
  • Assigns operational tasks and Duties, performs as a Project Lead while also leading in design and support
  • Leads complex application initiatives, including project management responsibilities, while mentoring junior analysts and ensuring operational best practices
  • Provides lead technical expertise in the development, implementation and support of highly complex, enterprise wide, cross functional applications, integrated applications and technical projects
  • Analyze and translate workflow and documentation requirements for clinical and/or business processes into efficient and effective application systems solutions through collaboration with members of interprofessional care teams, operational leaders, technical team members, and other relevant stakeholders
  • Leads plans, designs, develops, validates, tests, implements, evaluates, maintains, and provides ongoing troubleshooting and support of comprehensive information system components to meet needs and business requirements
  • Leads quality assurance and integrated testing of current and newly released vendor functionality to ensure system reliability
  • Leads projects across applications and develops application specific enhancements and reports in alignment with organizational priorities
  • Provide 24/7 support for applications within accountability

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • 2 years Clinical Applications and Systems - design, build, integration, activation Required
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience
  • Strong experience with Epic
  • Epic Certification in Beacon/Research/Dialysis Highly preferred
