Job Description

We are looking for a builder, not just a manager. As the Team Lead for Business Development based in Berlin, you will hold a dual mandate: Coach the talent and Engineer the GTM strategy. You will lead the team responsible for the DACH, CEE, and Nordics regions, markets that require distinct strategies and precision.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead & Develop (The People): Recruit, hire, and coach a high-performing team of 9 Business Development Representatives (BDRs)
  • GTM Architecture (The Engine): Act as the 'GTM Engineer' for your region
  • Strategic Forecasting: Partner with Sales, Marketing and Product Marketing to tailor our go-to-market strategy per vertical
  • Data-Driven Experimentation: Embed a culture of A/B testing
  • Cross-Border Collaboration: Champion the 'Global License to Operate'

Requirements

  • 3+ years in Sales/Business Development
  • At least 1+ year leading a team or driving complex GTM projects
  • Comfortable with the 'Ops' side of sales
  • Understand that Salesforce is the source of truth and know how to leverage tools to uncover bottlenecks
  • Drive performance through empathy and radical candor
  • Can look at a list of 100 accounts and explain why we should prioritize the top 10 based on market signals
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Experience working across CEE or Nordic markets is a significant plus

  • Leading policy development work by outlining regulatory positions, interpreting new rules and producing clear material for EU and national engagement
  • Working with Analytics and Product teams to strengthen Voi’s evidence base and advocacy positions
  • Identifying, monitoring and preparing for tenders across the region, ensuring the right policy positioning
  • Engage proactively with city and regional authorities to shape upcoming mobility tenders and secure opportunities for participation
  • Collaborating with Product, Operations, Legal, PR and Tender team to align regulatory positions and support readiness for upcoming rules
  • Owning and developing senior political, technical and administrative relationships across the Benelux and within relevant EU institutions
  • Representing Voi in consultations, conferences and working groups, on European and national level, ensuring consistent and professional presentation of Voi’s positions
  • Maintaining oversight of compliance matters in the region and on European level, and preparing internal processes for regulatory change
  • Managing and mentoring the regional policy team, setting goals, supporting development and ensuring alignment with Voi’s strategic priorities
