As Location Design Lead for Switzerland, you will play a key role in shaping a high-quality charging network while leading, coaching and developing a talented local team of architects. This role combines architectural excellence with people-centred leadership to deliver innovative locations that raise the bar for design, functionality and user experience.

Job Responsibility

  • Build, mentor and grow the Location Design team in Switzerland
  • Foster a culture of psychological safety, collaboration, creativity and continuous learning
  • Provide clear direction, regular feedback and support individual development
  • Lead the architectural vision for the Swiss portfolio, ensuring consistency with the wider design strategy while adapting to local and regulatory requirements
  • Act as the primary point of contact with external authorities and internal stakeholders
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with road authorities and cantonal and local government bodies
  • Continuously improve design processes and workflows
  • Establish best practices and ensure efficient collaboration from early site development through to execution planning
  • Work closely with Expansion, Construction and Public Affairs teams to accelerate deployment while maintaining design integrity
  • Encourage experimentation, new tools and innovative working methods
  • Champion design quality and reinforce the company’s reputation as a purpose-driven, design-forward organisation

Requirements

  • 8+ years’ experience in architecture, infrastructure design or a related field (leadership experience essential)
  • ETH or equivalent university degree in Architecture, or HF/FH in architecture, civil engineering or a related discipline
  • Intermediate proficiency in Revit or similar software preferred
  • Fluent in German and English (French is a plus)
  • Strong motivation to contribute to the energy transition and deliver meaningful, real-world impact
