At Children's Wisconsin, we are searching for a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Team Lead Anesthesia Technician to guide our dedicated team in providing exceptional care to our youngest patients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Under the direction of the Operating Room Manager, Anesthesiologist, and licensed team members, serves as resource and mentor to the Anesthesia Technician's
  • Assists leadership in accomplishing goals and objectives of Surgical Services and the health system
  • Understands and satisfies the needs of the neonatal, infant, toddler, pre-school age, adolescent and/or adult patient in regards to their growth and development process
  • Actively supports and participates in QI initiatives and performs the functions of the Anesthesia Technician as assigned

Requirements:

  • Three (3) years of clinical Anesthesia Technician experience
  • Associate Degree in anesthesia technology and ASATT Certification preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required
  • Must be able to participate in on-call rotation and assume 24 hour availability for unit coverage
  • Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with leaders and staff on policy and procedure matters
