Job Description:

Taboola is looking for a driven and ambitious Team Lead to join our Global Growth Advertiser Sales team, focusing on the Spanish & Italian markets. The Growth department sits at the heart of Taboola’s success — helping advertisers grow through innovative strategies and delivering measurable impact. This is an exciting step into management, where you’ll be expected to lead by example. You’ll combine hands-on sales with guiding a new business team: building strong pipelines, forecasting accurately, and exceeding sales targets. Acting as both player and coach, you’ll research, engage, and close new advertisers while inspiring your team to do the same. Your leadership and sales skills will directly expand client portfolios and fuel long-term growth at Taboola.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and inspire: recruit, manage, and motivate a high-performing new business team while leading from the front
  • Win new business: build a strong pipeline, generate leads, and close deals to consistently hit targets
  • Coach and develop: guide your team through the sales cycle, sharing best practices and driving results
  • Work cross-functionally: partner with Marketing, Product, and Account Management to enhance lead generation and client success
  • Shape advertiser strategies: design tailored media plans that deliver against client objectives
  • Build trusted relationships: act as a strategic advisor, bringing data-driven insights and handling negotiations with confidence
  • Stay on top of the numbers: ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, and Salesforce tracking
  • Represent Taboola: attend industry events and strengthen Taboola’s market presence

Requirements:

  • Native or professional fluency in Spanish
  • Plus English professional proficiency
  • A passion for sales and a hunger to close deals
  • 4+ years’ experience in sales, ideally in digital media, with proven achievements and leadership skills
  • Strong experience structuring and negotiating deals
  • A genuine interest in online content and relationship-building
  • Analytical skills to turn client conversations and data trends into business insights
  • Solid technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn campaign tools for effective optimisation
  • Strong prioritisation skills to manage competing demands while hitting objectives
  • Excellent communication skills in Spanish

Nice to have:

  • Experience in ad tech, social media marketing, or performance advertising
  • Knowledge of media buying KPIs (CPM, CTR, ROAS, etc.)
  • Familiarity with sales tools (Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clay, Apollo, Lusha, etc.)
  • E-commerce/Shopify experience
  • Creative pitching and storytelling (e.g., Canva)
  • Additional languages (especially Italian)
What we offer:
  • 25 days holiday
  • Excellent health insurance
  • Some flexible working
  • Stock options
