With the expansion of our operations in the UK, we are now looking for a Fleet Specialist Team Lead who will be responsible for leading our warehouse- and in-field operations in Aberdeen.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage a team of Fleet Specialists
  • Ensure high quality of service for our users and cities
  • Oversee efficient execution of tasks related to maintaining, repairing, transporting, and repositioning vehicles, as well as swapping batteries
  • Divide time between managerial duties such as hiring, training, and conducting performance evaluations for your team and performing operational tasks
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, coaching, and training of Fleet Specialists
  • Oversee spare parts and battery inventory to ensure availability and optimal usage
  • Ensure team members adhere to safety regulations and compliance standards, complete onboarding paperwork, and monitor mandatory training compliance
  • Record, follow up, and investigate incidents, ensuring adherence to workplace accident policies
  • Supports, when required, the repairs and maintenance in the warehouse as needed
  • Daily contact with 3PL partners to ensure adherence to the agreed procedures
  • Supports operational aspects of vans, including installation and removal of tracking devices, but not budget or planning

Requirements

  • 2+ years of previous work experience
  • Experience managing a team of people
  • A UK Full UK Driving License with a maximum of 6 points for minor offences and no major offences, and meet the requirements for our e-Van insurance
  • General understanding of digital work tools (MS-office, G-Suite)
