As experts of Avaloq's Mobile Banking solutions, we are responsible for developing, improving and maintaining the corresponding modules for our clients in the European market. Following agile development processes, we take care of all aspects related to our Mobile Banking offering by leveraging on our Avaloq Core Platform and tailoring the product to the market demands. You will be part of an international and dynamic team of Software Developers and Business Analysts spread across several locations all over Europe. As a Team Head at Avaloq, you can be part of many exciting and challenging projects relating to cutting-edge worldwide banking initiatives. You will be responsible for organizing the team, owning the Mobile Banking applications used by the European clients and bridging the gap between business requirements and technical solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Facilitate the team's organization, enabling the team to reach its goals efficiently and predictably
  • Function as a manager for other team members (DevOps and Software Engineers) , ensuring their satisfaction and productivity
  • Represent the products owned by the team internally and externally
  • Engage in critical collaboration with Client and Internal Stakeholders
  • provide independent technical and business analysis to define comprehensive requirements for functions or services across products, demonstrating a thorough understanding of system architecture
  • Meticulously draft detailed requirements documentation for all aspects of the digital process, including UX journeys and product specifications, while liaising with Subject Matter Experts and Project Managers
  • Translate complex requirements into comprehensive Functional Specification Documents with utmost accuracy and clarity
  • Maintain close, professional collaboration with the Development team to ensure clear understanding and accurate translation of requirements. Provide critical support to developers during implementation and testing phases of newly built functionality

Requirements:

  • Relevant leadership experience across the software development lifecycle
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of substantive experience as a Business or Technical Analyst
  • Extensive knowledge and expertise in analyzing complex business needs
  • Demonstrated proficiency in translating intricate business requirements into precise, high-quality functional documents
  • A strong sense of independence coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving and task management
  • Prior experience in mobile application development is highly advantageous
  • Extensive experience working with REST APIs and proficiency in utilizing tools such as Postman
  • Advanced proficiency in documentation and tracking tools, including but not limited to Confluence, Jira, Miro, diagramming software, and Swagger
  • Fluent in both German and English
