Team driver

• Drive company vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic rules and regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
• Transport goods and materials between Canada and the United States, following designated routes and schedules
• Collaborate with co-drivers to ensure timely deliveries and efficient loading/unloading processes
• Maintain accurate records of driving hours, rest periods, and other relevant information as required by law
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse staff to coordinate pickups and deliveries
• Handle documents such as bills of lading and receipts accurately and promptly
• Ensure the safety of goods and vehicles, including proper handling of hazardous materials, if applicable
• Report any accidents, incidents, or maintenance issues promptly and in accordance with company policies
• Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines

• Valid Class 1 license with a clean driving record
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a long-haul truck driver
• Knowledge of cross-border regulations and customs procedures between Canada and the United States (an asset)
• Strong commitment to safety, both for yourself and others on the road
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Functional English
