Due to team expansion, we are looking to recruit a part time dedicated and experienced administrator to join our friendly team. The successful post holder will be required to work across our two York bases; Acomb Health Centre and Huntington House. The York memory service is a team providing support to people living in the York and Selby area who are experiencing concerns with their memory.
Job Responsibility:
Promote compassionate care
Booking assessment and diagnostic appointments liaising via the phone and through written correspondence
Formatting letters
Maintaining accurate confidential patient records
Deliver comprehensive admin support
Attend regular meetings
Minute meetings
Keep accurate records
Input accurately to the patient database
Requirements:
Experience of working in an administrative environment
Customer Service experience (face to face, answering calls, correspondence)
Experience of organising, prioritising and completing demanding workloads
Experience of setting up and the maintenance of administrative systems and processes
Experience of working autonomously and proactively
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Understanding of data protection and the need for confidentiality and how to maintain this
Knowledge of office systems and processes
Level 3 Qualification in relevant field or equivalent experience or willingness to work towards Level 3 qualification in Leadership and Management
Key skills/functional skills in literacy and numeracy Level 2 OR O Level (Grade C and above/New GCSE in Maths and English (Grade 4 to 9)
Nice to have:
Experience of supporting/supervising staff
Experience of handling monies and working within financial guidelines
Knowledge of NHS systems
RSA Level 2 or equivalent Secretarial/administrative experience in a clinical environment
Level 3 Qualification in Leadership and Management
