Job Description

As a TLSA, you will support pupils across PLT primary schools, providing vital educational and pastoral assistance.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting children with a variety of learning needs, including those requiring additional individual support
  • Working 1:1 and in small groups to deliver tailored interventions
  • Assisting class teachers with engaging learning activities
  • Supporting behaviour, wellbeing, and emotional regulation
  • Helping create a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment
  • Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, external specialists and families to support pupil progress

Requirements

  • Have experience supporting children in primary settings (SEND experience beneficial)
  • Are patient, positive, empathetic, and proactive
  • Can adapt to the individual needs of pupils
  • Enjoy working as part of a supportive, collaborative school team
  • Are passionate about helping every child thrive
